SITE POLICY
Copyright and DMCA policy
We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
Sending a notice
Send notices through the contact page with the topic "Copyright notice". The form asks for each required element:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The material you say infringes, and its URL on this site.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If material you supplied was removed, you can send a counter-notification through the same form containing: your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and to accept service from the complainant.
We may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us it has filed a court action.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. Where material is contributed by others, we stop accepting it from anyone who repeatedly infringes.
Forwarding
We may forward a notice to the party concerned.
